My Harmon system just went silent after a distinct "pop," taking radio, CarPlay, and even those crucial warning chimes with it. Sounds like a classic case of electrical problem, right? Anyone else experienced a sudden, total audio system meltdown like this? I checked the fuse, but that "pop" makes me think it's something more serious, like a blown amp or a short somewhere in the wiring. If you've had a similar issue, what was the culprit? Any tips for troubleshooting before I get fleeced by the dealer? And, for those with similar systems, what aftermarket upgrades have you considered in case a replacement is needed?

Sounds like it could be more than just a fuse if the whole audio system is down, but if the rest of the electronics are still working, it might be isolated to the audio components. Could be the amp or a wiring issue, especially with that ‘’pop.’’ maybe try a hard reset of the system or check if the amp is getting power.
