that’s actually pretty common, especially after washing and parking for a while. It sounds like a bit of surface rust might have formed on the brake rotors, which can make the pads stick. That big snap you heard was probably them breaking free. I’ve had it happen on mine after just a few days in the garage, and it’s usually nothing to worry about as long as the noise goes away after driving a bit. Just be sure to give it a quick drive around the block after a wash next time, or even just let it dry off before parking!
