Just tap it, and a list of recent pages shows up at the top. You can scroll with iDrive or swipe. You can also get to it by pressing the menu button again on the main screen. I use it a lot for checking tire pressures. Since I’m usually in CarPlay, Vehicle Status is usually at the top of the recent list. Just double tap and select
