I just got a Pod Point charger installed at home, and I'm kinda worried about security. I figured once the car’s locked and the charger’s plugged in, it’d be all good. But I’ve noticed the charger can still be unplugged, even with the car locked.

Is that normal, or am I missing something? Anyone else had this issue or know of any extra security steps I can take?

I am sure it is an issue with your car’s locking system, as it should stay locked when charging. You could check the settings or consult the manual for more security options.

Is there a timer set on your Pod Point? When the car begins to charge, the charging cable should automatically lock. The same thing happened to my ChargePoint when I used a timer. When the timer went off, the cable locked.
