Hello! I am new here and I have this issue.
My Mini 2022 MINI Electric drops from the expected 45-50 kWh to around 12-22 kWh after the first charge of the day. The dealer hasn’t been able to fix it, and we have never heard of this problem before. We know the car isn't meant for long trips, but not being able to do two back-to-back DC charges at the stated speed seems pretty off.
So, if anyone here has had issues with the car not charging at the advertised DC speed?

It’s possible the battery management system is limiting charge speed due to heat buildup. I know a few people talked about some variations in charge time based on battery temperature and state of charge, but your drop is too much. Freaking unusual. I would find a way to have MINI diagnose this properly.

Yikes, that drop is rough! Have you tried a different DC fast charger to see if it’s just that station acting up? Some chargers slow down depending on their load or random software quirks. If it’s happening everywhere, MINI really needs to get on this ASAP.

that's a really strange problem you're having I've never heard of that before. Have you tried reaching out to another MINI dealer? Or maybe even contacting MINI directly? I'm curious if they've seen this issue before.
