I got a recall notice for my EV's high-voltage battery. It needs a software update and will take about a day. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Looks like a handful of battery packs rolled off the line with some defects, so they’re doing a recall to boost the car’s software game. This update will help the system spot any hiccups and steer clear of overheating issues. Basically, it’s a smart move while the crew digs into which battery packs are affected and figures out a fix.

You should schedule a dealer appointment for the software update to ensure safe, optimal battery performance post-recall.
