Mini's Charging with Granny Charger is Taking Ages!

So my mom just got herself a shiny new Mini, but we're running into a bit of a snag with its charging. It's taking forever with the granny charger. According to their website, it should go from 0 to 100% in 13 hours. But right now, it's stuck at 50% and saying it'll need another 14 hours to top up, even after I switched to immediate charging. Anyone else run into this? Any tips on squeezing better efficiency out of a granny charger?

Try changing your car's charging rate. Do you know how to change it?
