Hello gang. I am new to this site and have been a mini EV owner since spring 2024. I am located in the Portland, Oregon area and so far have been very impressed with the car and local dealership. I purchased this car for commuting as my distance to work is less than 10 miles and my previous gasser would hardly get fully warmed up before reaching the parking lot. This is not good for a gas car so that is what started my search for an electric car. I was ready to pull the trigger on a BMW I4 then while on vacation in Florida I drove the Mini SE and fell in love with the car, and being it was 1/3 the cost of the BMW it was a no brainer for me. What I didn’t realize is how comfortable this car would be to drive on the highway and now I wish I had more range to hit the mountain twisties! I know it would ruin the way the car handles like a go cart if the battery got to big and heavy so I am very satisfied using it for zipping around town. In the future if they could squeeze 250 miles of range without too much weight increase, make it rear wheel drive and keep the classic style and buttons inside it would be my dream car
