Just joined Intelligent and trying to get smart charging working. Everything seems fine during the first time slot, but then the app throws a "charging interrupted" error and tells me to check the cable which I have! This stops subsequent slots from starting. Using a wall charger, and Electric Miles (app control) says they updated the firmware but the issue persists. Any advice to get this working properly?

Since Octopus communicates with your Mini directly, not through the charger, you'll want to make sure both your Mini and the charger are set to allow charging anytime. This will give Octopus full control over your Mini's charging schedule.

Are you still having issues? Have you tried contacting your dealership?

It's super annoying when charging problems pop up, especially when everything seems fine. Since you've already checked the cable and the firmware, it's probably something else. First, double-check that the cable is really plugged in tight at both ends, and try a different cable if you have one. Then, try restarting your phone and both apps completely. Make sure your wall charger is compatible with Intelligent and Electric Miles, because some chargers have their own settings that might interfere. It's less likely, but see if your car has any charging logs or error codes you can check. Also, look for any other charging schedules or timers on your car, charger, or other apps that might be clashing. Definitely contact Electric Miles again since they did the firmware update, and explain everything clearly. Reach out to Intelligent support too, they might know something. Finally, if you can, try charging somewhere else without the smart apps to see if the problem is with your home setup or the car. Hopefully something works!
