we're super excited about our new SE! Planning some upgrades and our heart is set on the Speedline in 17". Anyone running this setup? Specifically wondering if the specs 7.5X17 ET45 5X112 76 will fit perfectly without any problem or weirdness.

That'll fit. I'd recommend doing a test fit first before buying. They can confirm compatibility and ensure everything lines up properly. To add, consider lightweight forged wheels to help maintain your Mini's driving range. They're a great choice for both performance and efficiency.

I agree. Lighter wheels can improve both range and performance.

I wish I could afford a set.

By the way, I was wondering about the warranty. I know if you use aftermarket wheels, the manufacturer won't cover any problems related to the wheels themselves. But I'm curious, could they use the aftermarket wheels as an excuse to deny coverage for other issues that might arise? For example, could they say the aftermarket wheels caused some other problem in the car even if it's not directly related?

I get it now, 18x8 with 205 tires looks off, the tire's too stretched. Unfortunately, the OZ wheels only come in a minimum of 7.5. 215s are a bit wider than your 205s, but I doubt it’ll affect the range much
