MINI Home charger not locking am I missing something?

I recently had a Pod Point charger installed at home and had assumed that once the car was locked while charging, the cable would also lock in place, making it secure. However, I’ve noticed that even when the car is locked, I can still unplug the charger from the car.

Am I overlooking a simple setting or feature? Is there something I need to activate to make the charging cable lock when the car is locked?
 
There might be an issue with your car's settings or the charger itself. The cable should lock when the car is locked and charging. You might want to check the settings or consult your car’s manual for any specific locking features.

The cable locks into your car only when the charging actually starts. Could there be a timer set on your Pod Point that's interfering with that?
