So I just got my new Mini and it only came with front mats, no rear ones. Now I’m hunting for some decent rear mats that won’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ve been checking online but the reviews aren’t cutting it, and all I find is full sets. Any suggestions for a good brand?

I completely understand the search for rear mats; it can be annoying when you want to save money. 😖 There look like some good choices that won't cost a lot of money. I've heard that some brands are good for durability and fit, but they might come in full sets, which isn't good if you're only looking for the back. You could also check Amazon or auto parts stores in your area. There are some rear mats that are less expensive and still get good reviews.

You could also look for mats that can be used by everyone. 😅 As a rule, they are less expensive and can be cut to fit your Mini perfectly. Just make sure you know how to return them if they don't fit right. So you can get your money back if it doesn't fit right.

I had the same issue when I got my Mini, and I didn’t want to blow my budget on mats. I found a couple of decent rear-only options on Amazon that work well even if they’re not specifically for Mini. Just check reviews and measurements, some brands fit surprisingly well, and they’re a fraction of the price of full sets. Read through the reviews, because some would explain if they're bad, or not. Hope that helps! ✌

Congrats on the new Mini! I had the same problem hunting for rear mats. Mini Mania is a good spot for separate OEM mats, and they aren’t too pricey. If you’re not super picky about the “perfect fit,” you could also try local auto stores for generic ones, they’re often cheap, and some even look pretty good in the car.

I was on the same goal! Couldn’t find affordable rear mats that fit, so I ended up getting a universal set from the auto store and trimming them down. Not perfect, but they get the job done without costing an arm and a leg! Plus, I kind of like that I got to customize the fit a bit. Might be worth a try if you’re up for a DIY solution! I'm planning to visit a local detailing shop soon. I guess it's a journey. 🤷‍♂️

Finding just rear mats can be a real scavenger hunt! I ended up checking out Mini Parts Direct, and they had some OEM options that you can buy separately. I’ve also had good luck with Facebook Marketplace for car accessories on the cheap. Otherwise, a lot of auto stores carry universal rear mats that fit pretty well after a trim. Hope you find something that works, and congrats on the new Mini! 💪
