Got an error message in my 2022 Cooper SE - never seen anything like it in the manual. It says "High Voltage System" and mentions possible continued driving, but also to get it checked to avoid "subsequent damage." Not super comforting! Dealer didn't have any info on the code (00794) either, but scheduled a service appointment. Anyone else come across this mysterious message?

I had the same message pop up on my car too. I took it to the shop last week. They checked everything and even tried a special charger, but couldn't find a problem. They cleared the light and gave me the car back. Hopefully it's all fixed!

@electron520 Hey, thanks for posting this! It would be really helpful if you could share the outcome of your situation.

That way, if I ever encounter a similar issue, I'll be better prepared to discuss it with my dealer. Knowing what happened in your case will give me more confidence when I'm talking to them.

I had a similar issue with my 2021 SE, it was a bit alarming at first! Turns out, it was a minor software glitch related to the high voltage system, but it still recommended a check-up. The dealer ran diagnostics and updated the system. So how did yours get fixed?
