If you’re as frustrated as I was with the weird errors and glitches caused by Octopus’s Smart Charging feature, I might have a solution for you! After countless attempts to figure it out, I stumbled on a fix that seems to work, at least for me.
Here’s what I did:
If you’re dealing with the infamous “Octopus Dance,” this might be worth a try. Has anyone else tried this? Or are there other tweaks that have worked for you?
Here’s what I did:
- Open the Octopus app and go to the Account & Settings section (the little head icon at the top right on my screen).
- Select Devices, then expand the Intelligent Octopus Go settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, and under Accounts, you’ll find Smart Charging.
- Turn it off.
