Are you guys seeing these crazy Mini Electric deals? My local dealer is throwing in a year of free insurance, four years of free servicing, and a free home charger on top of a low APR. It's like they're trying to bribe people into going electric! Too bad they don't offer similar incentives for their ICE models.

Seriously, who’s buying a new car outright anymore? It feels like everyone’s just going the lease route now, which is kind of like a long-term rental. With lower interest rates and depreciation already built in, leasing often turns out to be more cost-effective.

Wow, sounds like a steal! If I didn’t already have a car, I’d jump on that in a second. A free home charger and four years of servicing? It’s like they’re really pushing the EVs. Maybe it’s time to make the switch!

Worth looking into, but be sure to read the fine print. That’s a pretty sweet offer if you ask me. Free insurance and servicing are great, especially for an EV. I’d check is whether there are any hidden fees or conditions attached, sometimes these deals look too good to be true. They'd force you to get a few more in insurance, upgrade, mods, and others. if everything checks out, you’re getting a lot of value for the price. Have you taken it for a test drive yet? and probably have a walk around inspection would be okay.

Which dealer? Sounds like a solid deal. That deal sounds almost too good to pass up! Which dealer is offering this? I’ve been on the fence about going electric, but those kinds of incentives make it pretty tempting. Did they mention any restrictions on the free insurance or the servicing, like mileage caps or specific maintenance providers? What kind of mods, services, insurance do they have?

It seems like a lot of dealerships are offering major incentives to get people into EVs, and honestly, it makes sense. Governments are pushing for greener options, and carmakers are really starting to incentivize that shift. While it would be nice if similar deals applied to ICE models, EVs are the future, and deals like this are a great way to make them more affordable. Free insurance and servicing, plus a home charger, takes a lot of the usual headaches out of owning an EV. If you’ve been considering, this could be the perfect time.

Do dealers give us the EV rebate or just tell us about it so we can claim it later? Because, afaik, the MINI does not qualify.

The tax break is only available for vehicles that were manufactured and/or assembled in the US. And The MINI is not manufactured or assembled in the US.
