Mini electric range display miles

Our new Mini Electric range display has us a bit confused! Picked it up last week showing 125 miles, but after charging at home we only ever see a max of 100 miles at 100%. We've read about using the battery bars instead, but is the mileage display normally this off? Even tried eco-driving but no major change. Is this normal behavior for a Mini Electric, or should we get it checked? Husband's a little worried about the switch to EV now!

An EV's range can vary depending on several factors like driving style, weather conditions, temperature, highway speeds, and climate control use. However, the displayed range typically decreases as you drive, reflecting the actual energy used. This doesn't necessarily mean the range itself is decreasing permanently.
