MINI or Leaf

My sister is looking at getting an EV for daily use and occasional long trips. She’s thinking about a Nissan Leaf since a MINI is out of her budget. As much as I’d love for her to get a MINI, the price is a big factor. Just so you know, I can’t cover the cost. Any sugestions on how I can convince her to choose the MINI, or should I just let her go with the Leaf?

The Leaf is definitely a practical choice, but the MINI would definitely give her that “zoom-zoom” factor. You could say something like, “You’ll get there faster, and you’ll have way more fun doing it!” If she’s into long trips, the MINI might make her feel like she’s in a car commercial, even if it’s just a trip to the grocery store. But, if the budget’s tight, maybe let her go with the Leaf, at least she won’t be “leafing” you with an empty wallet...
