Why are my brake discs corroding so quickly?

At my first service, the garage owner, whom I’ve known for years, said my front brake discs were in poor condition for a three-year-old car with low mileage. He advised using the footbrake occasionally instead of just relying on regen. He also mentioned testing a low-mileage hybrid this year with seized calipers, requiring new discs and calipers. Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it common with electric or hybrid vehicles?

What more exactly are you concerned about? So, if you want to keep the discs and calipers healthy for the long run, then follow that guy's advice.

I’m mainly concerned about long-term wear, especially since I rely mostly on regen. I’ll follow his advice to keep the discs and calipers in better condition.
