The 215/45R17 91H XL Michelin X-Ice tires (10mm larger) are getting rave reviews and seem like the closest upgrade. Any other brands with solid reviews that might steal the spotlight?
My cousin who is now in Canada is using Toyo tires. Personally I haven't tried it but based on his experience he never had an issue using Toyo tires especially during winter.
