Winter tire upgrade

The 215/45R17 91H XL Michelin X-Ice tires (10mm larger) are getting rave reviews and seem like the closest upgrade. Any other brands with solid reviews that might steal the spotlight?

Try Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 or Nokians, theyre decent brands as well.

My cousin who is now in Canada is using Toyo tires. Personally I haven't tried it but based on his experience he never had an issue using Toyo tires especially during winter.

From what I’ve experienced, Blizzaks are legit the best when it comes to gripping ice and hard-packed snow—like, they just stick to the road almost freakishly well. But here’s the thing: they burn through quickly on dry roads, especially if it’s not that cold.
