What a shocker! Got stuck with a dead battery and needed an AA tow. Turns out, bad planning, bad weather, and a totaled charger didn't help. Map showed hope, but I didn't want to risk blocking traffic.
Here's the funny bit, even though I told them it was an EV, the AA showed up with jump leads! They (and the trainee) got a kick out of it, but luckily hooked us up with a taxi and flatbed to a nearby fast-food with a charger. Never seen an EV on a dolly before!

@Ryzen9 Are you saying the battery is simply 'flat' (meaning it needs a charge but is otherwise healthy) or 'dead' (meaning it can no longer hold a charge)?
  • If it's just flat:
    • Try getting a jump start from a friend, neighbor, or family member.
    • After the jump start, drive around for a while to allow the alternator to recharge the battery.
    • If a jump start isn't possible, call a local roadside assistance service or a garage that offers recovery services.
  • If the battery is dead:
    • You'll need to replace it.
    • Consider purchasing a new battery from a local auto parts store, a garage, or a retailer like [mention a local equivalent to Halfords if applicable].
    • If you're not comfortable replacing the battery yourself, it's best to have a mechanic do it for you. They can also properly dispose of the old battery.
I hope this helps!
