Mini Cooper SE Stuck in Park Gear

While my wife faced challenges shifting the car out of park while driving, I had no issues when we switched seats. Despite multiple attempts, the problem still persisted. I suspect maybe because the key fob is with me the whole time. Planning to reach out to our local dealership next week. Have you guys encountered this?

It's not the key from the driver's side as I always put my key in the trunk. No problem. It's your weight vs hers. It links your weight to the key profile. If it changes a lot, it goes into safe mode.
