Need a hand with my SE badge! Someone bumped my car and trashed the front number plate area. I'm getting it it fixed, but that means messing with the yellow S badge on the grille. Is this badge a one-time stick-on, or can I pop it off and put it back on? Hoping to avoid needing a whole new badge!

My friend used silver paint on his car's grille, and he really liked the way it looked. He decided to skip the clear coat because he wanted that raw metal finish, not a glossy one. And you know what? It's held up pretty well!

Since the grille is plastic, it's a good idea to use a special primer designed for plastic. This will help prevent the silver paint from reacting with the plastic and messing things up. You can probably find a good plastic primer in gray or white.

The raw metal look is definitely cool, and using a plastic primer is key for durability. I’d definitely recommend it to avoid any issues down the line
